A story all Christians are familiar with, the story of Jesus, told in such a way, you almost feel as if you are hearing it for the first time ...MORE INFORMATION »
Ken Blanchard, author of the “One Minute Manager” first heard One Solitary Life at the end of the Christmas pageant at the Crystal Cathedral in Orange, California. He says this:
“The first time I heard One Solitary Life, it hit me like a ton of bricks. It put in perspective that all of the pushing in life for wealth, power and status doesn’t really mean anything. What really matters is what you do for others.”
Through some digging he found that the story came from a powerful essay from a 1926 sermon by James A. Francis depicting the life, journey and message of Jesus. No other man, army or movement has affected the people on this earth as much as his “One Solitary Life.”
Years later Ken met with Mac Anderson, founder of Simple Truths, and the project went into motion and we are proud to offer you this classic story beautifully laid out in a gift book you will be proud to give as well as a movie that will help you put your life into perspective and feel renewed and blessed.
Ken Blanchard writes a powerful foreword and offers meaningful reflections about how Jesus made a difference with his life… and what we can do with ours

Every day you have the opportunity to touch those around you with kindness. This book will inspire you to remember the power of kindness and weave it into your daily routine...MORE INFORMATION »
Pass It On! Kindness is like a snowball that’s rolling down a hill. Each unselfish act or word is another snowflake that greets the others. . .creating something much larger than itself in the process.
I once heard someone say, “If you teach your children the Golden Rule, you will have left them an incalculable estate.” Truer words were never spoken. More than anything, the Golden Rule is about kindness. Kindness and honesty make you feel good about yourself and create trust in others. They improve your relationship with yourself and with others. It’s not much in fashion these days to talk about the benefits of kindness, honesty and decency, but the benefits are there and they are valuable and worth the trouble.
In fact studies have shown committing acts of kindness is actually good for your health. A rush of euphoria, followed by a longer period of calm after performing a kind act, is often referred to as a “helper’s high,” involving physical sensations and the release of the body’s natural painkillers, endorphins. This initial rush is then followed by a longer-lasting period of improved emotional well-being.
Just reading stories of other’s acts of kindness will bring you joy and it is a wonderful message to share with friends or volunteers who have shown you kindness. Spread some kindness today…because nice matters!

The Touch of the Master’s Hand reinforces Myra Brooks Welch’s powerful and inspiring poem that helps us better understand and realize that God places far more value on restoring our soul and renewing our faith than putting a price on the external value of a person’s life. This book also reveals an inspiring message that reminds us of our uniqueness and significance with God. Author Bob Kelly, a very accomplished writer and author of several books, does a masterful job of researching and reinforcing the importance of the story and poem and just how applicable it is to our lives today.
